I was born in 1957,  and grew up in Benoni,  Gauteng.  I love painting figures, cityscapes, Cape landscapes, Robertson and Boland vineyards, street scenes, harbours, architecture and gardens. I work mainly in oil.

Painting for me is all about capturing the effect of sunlight and the juxtaposition of colour and tone. I simply want to stimulate the visual senses and therefore subject matter is merely a tool I use.  I have travelled widely and have painted in Italy, France, Ukraine and USA.
